2009 GRAMMY AWARDS

GREEN TEA REPORTS (7 DECEMBER 2008): 51st Grammy Awards will be take place on February 8, 2009. As usual, there are some surprises in the nominees that field all of the categories, while some are just on target to may eventually winning something after all. To be eligible for an award a recording must have been commercially released between October 1, 2007 to September 30, 2008. Rules are rules, therefore songs that did not made into the nominations like "Apologize", "Bleeding Love" and others are gaining entry into this year's list of nominations, as announced on December 4 ago.

As the Grammy Awards has enormous list of categories of musics on it, here will only summarize some of the categories and main awards, as well as those that features many heavyweight contenders.

Hi there,

Regarding Grammy, I don't understand why they keep shunning out Mariah Carey. She should have won way more than the 5 she got...especially during the 90's when she is still strong vocally.

I think Coldplay will grab the Record of the Year. Not sure if their copied version of Viva La Vida will spoil everything though. They are sued for copyright right now...
