Robots In Disguise....Coming Soon

Who will ever forget this movie?

Yeah, our favourite robots in disguise are really back. Transformers 2, a live action science fiction sequel about...errr....robotic organisms of Transformers from the planet Cybertron will be back. Transformers 2 is scheduled for release in 2009 June.

On recent MTV Movies Award, Transformers received Best Movie Award, the highrst honour. Michael Bay even tell the audience that he will start the shooting tomorrow (that's June 2) in Pennsylvania, United States. This time the movie will consumes bigger budget and effects. The production promised that there will be more role play for the robots compared to the first one.

These reports are taken from some-how reliable http://www.wikipedia.org/

01) Shia LaBeouf (Sam Witwicky), Megan Fox (Mikaela Banes), Josh Duhamel (Capt. Lennox), Tyrese Gibson (Robert Epps), Jon Voight (John Keller), and others are back in casting. Also included in are the parents of Sam, funny according to the people behind Transformers.

02) More robots will be featured. Initial reports suggest that there will be ten of these robots on each sides - Autobots and Decepticons. Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ratchet and Ironhide as well as unnamed ones will return on Autobots side; while Starscream, Barricade, Soundwave, and unknown robots will featured on Decepticons. They will have more play role and dialogue this time.

03) Of course all the people behind the first Transformers will return for this one.

04) Orci, the screenwriter described the tone as similar to the first film, but "the stakes will be higher" (with a more global sensibility) and there will be more focus on the science fiction elements. He also mentioned "we'll be better at modulating [the humor] this time". He described the plot's structure as "more organically interconnected in that TF1 had the structure of 3 story lines coming together at Hoover Dam. TF2 will have a different structure." He described the theme as the robots confronting "being away from home", with the focus between the robots and humans "much more evenly balanced".

Well, who don't love these robots!! Let's look back at the phenomenon caused by Transformers last year. It was the best movie i rated last year. 4.0/5 stars. It would have gone 4.5 if not the robots have played second field to the human in story.
