Years back, when I asked my mother about Star Trek, she initially have no ideas what I am talking about. Then, I dragged her into the cyber-world and shown her some of those old picture stills of that show, she began to re-compose back her memory of that show. My mother is not well-verse in English, but she had been watching the show with Malay subtitles back in those days. Talking about memories, I can hardly remember any of those Star Trek TV series with the exception of the recent Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise on TV.

Over the past 40 years, Star Trek fans have enjoyed 6 television series, one animation series, ten major silver screen features and countless of novels. 40 years on, the fans can still remember the personas of William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy as the original Captain Kirk and Mr Spock. Watching the 3 movie trailers on the 2009's latest movie adaptation gave me so much of a goosebumps, enthusiasm, and high hopes for the movie. I wish my sixth inner sense about the movie is right - awesome and enjoyable.

With all the excitement and hype, director J.J. Abrams and his team of creative writers; Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman and from the production team of Damon Lindelof and Bryan Burk, comes the eleventh movie that based on the evergreen popular Star Trek franchise. Contrary to the previous ten, this is the re-imaginative revival to explore the backbones of the original casts in the heights of Captain James T. Kirk and Spock in their USS Enterprise.

J.J. Abrams is a well known director which in the past has galores many high quality action-packed and stylish imagination that revolutionize the production of TV series and films. He brought you TV-series phenomenons like Alias, Lost and the new cult Fringe; the ever-explosive incapacitated monster flick Cloverfield; while he also cooperated with Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible 3.

This year, he will bring you yet another anticipated Star Trek due to be released worldwide on May 8.
Here, he brings in the talent actors like (left to right) Anton Yelchin as Pavel Chekov, Chris Pine as James T. Kirk, Simon Pegg as Montgomery Scott, Karl Urban as Dr Leonard McCoy, John Cho as Hikaru Sulu, and Zoe Saldana as Uhura

Heroes' Zachary Quinto as Spock

Eric Bana as Nero.

I bet everyone is just craving for it now. Star Trek fans and non-fans must be thrill after all, J.J. Abrams name is just a brand name that can sells. Now what's with the hesitation, get up and enjoy a whole new experience here and get blown away.
