English Literature For Prim

News report yesterday says that the Government via The Ministry of Education is planning to introduce English Literature for primary students. Was it good? I hope so because due to the fact that English proficiency should be considered and started early so that there are more people can learn and appreciate English as early as possible. One way to learn English should not be restricted only to appreciating literatures, but also to speak it out, converse and communicate with English; listen more to English (songs or people's speech)

No.1 : Speak It Out
No one should ashamed to speak it out!! In the beginning, it doesn't matter if your grammar is like an alien to you but make the best effort to speak it out. Don't care about the grammar first. You can say anything you want, but when you can confidently pour out your English, then polish it up with a proper grammar. Nobody is perfect, sometimes I do have broken grammatically English.

No.2 : Learn Your Literature
When things just to start up I don't really have many opportunities to learn literatures. I was only been exposed to it during my last two years at high school.

I still remember The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
and sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
and looked down one as far as I could
to where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
and having perhaps the better claim
because it was grassy and wanted wear;
though as for that, the passing there
had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
in leaves no feet had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I --
I took the one less travelled by,
and that has made all the difference

The Pearl by John Steinback

Sonnet 18 by William Shakespeare

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date;
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature's changing course untrimm'd;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st;
Nor shall Death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st:
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee
