I'M A SHERLOCK HOLMES IN THE MAKING

Forgive me to comment that "I'm A Sherlock Holmes In The Making" title they asked me to put here doesn't sound correct. Since when Sherlock Holmes is A thing. Figure it yourself?

By the way, here is the screen print of that phenomenon been messed up around somebody's blog that need to be hunted.

Photobucket

Saw that thing on the right side.....The same picture right?

I must say it was easy to search for. I am expecting something more difficult like trivia or photo hunt or something. Well, I am not aiming for the lucky bird prizes but I just want to earn myself one pair of tickets to watch that.

Well, Robert Downey Jr is in Sherlock Holmes, which of course he is Sherlock Holmes. So, he transformed himself from been....

The alloy man to.....

The pigmented soldier-actor-previously-gay-father to....

The Sherlock Holmes....

Well, anticipated for such an event...read here at Nuffnang page...terms and conditions applied..

Before Green Tea Bern signed off, catch more latest and preview for two big December movies soon on http://greenteamovie.blogspot.com. With that I leaved you with the trailer for the upcoming Sherlock Holmes. ENJOY!!

IF I AM A NINJA ASSASSIN

Ninja is a form of martial art. Not just merely a traditionist-way of dressing in a black sattire and combating enemy with shuriken or nihontou sword. Ninja is an art of fighting that takes one beyond his own soul to deeply engraved one of the world's deadliest fighting combat skills the world has ever seen. So I asked myself what if I'm a NINJA ASSASSIN?

IF I AM A NINJA ASSASSIN? Throw away those conventional black-wrapping suits, change into something new like a blue mask-shield. No rigid uniforms. Free sleeves for my hands to move freely. High tech gadgets on my backpack. Again, the modern generation ninjas may have a form of new weapon. How about machine guns accompanying the nihontou sword and shuriken? That is me, a NINJA ASSASSIN.

So what if I am a NINJA ASSASSIN?

I could be as well become the sidekick of Bruce Wayne aka Batman. A new Robin? Well, why not? In a revamped series by Christopher Nolan - Batman Begins tells the story of how Bruce Wayne wandering in Japan and learnt the arts of ninjitsu (ninja) and becomes the cape-crusader of Gotham City. OK, i need to type my resume to him first!

If Batman rejected my application, I can turned myself to Mr Blade. Remember Blade? He is the one-lonely soul whom moves around and killes dracula and vampire clans. A blade in his hand and my silver bullets on my machine gun. Together, we kick these creatures to the six-feet-under!!

Well, in case everything does not go according to plan, I can join the turtles then. I'm sure the guys from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would allowed me to join them. Okay, I'm not a turtle nor a mutant, but I can swing bars, eat pizza and act like a turtle. Come on!!!

Now i know been a
NINJA ASSASSIN is no easy task. WORK WORK WORK, FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!! I think I should think about my EPF as well. When I'm retired, I'll open a ninja-school in downtown Pusat Bandar Damansara. The turtles will become instructors as well. Wait, I have to make sure my school is near with Pizza Hut, Domino or maybe Papa Johns!!

Oh well, this is more glimpse of me....as a
NINJA ASSASSIN!!

THANKS 8TV FOR THE 2012 SCREENING INVITES

I know, many of the people around the world are excited about this movie. 2012, releasing tomorrow takes Mr Roland Emmerich's visionary view on how the apocalypse 2012 will actually happen to the world. But frankly speaking, all those you have seen in the trailer are not going to happen any sooner. We have been living happily for thousands of years, yet earth has been at its form for the last 4 billion years, would the world vanished in a few blinks?

Well, entertainment has a little margin to differentiate between factual and fiction.

Photobucket

Anyway, thanks to those people at 8TV, I won myself an invite, a pair of tickets for tonight's complimentary screening of 2012.

Everyone has been hoo-haa about the movie but it looks like I will be watching the movie earlier than anyone else. Well, since those who had won from Nuffnang (which I didn't get due to some technical dateline problem) will be storming to Cineleisure aka E@Curve tonight, I will be there as well.

Hopefully I can see Mike, Moe and Jules (in real life version this time). Hoohoo...

I Don’t Want to Rest in Pieces like Final Destination

Dear readers of Green Tea World,

Death is a natural occurrence due to accidents, diseases or some sort of freaking events. Death is so mysterious, so unexpected, so freaking. People die everyday –now you called it a natural order or natural events.

But here is something for you to ponder.
1) How is the facial expression when one is going to die?
2) What does the person see before he/she dies?

Maybe this is the possible answers. Please don’t be afraid when you see this picture.

NOW THIS IS THE OFFICIAL ONE I'M USING FOR THE CONTEST!!

Seriously, don’t! Call it what ever you want for this kind of face but I can tell you that this looks more like a retarded, distorted and psycho face rather than a supposed to be horrified and scary face.

Suddenly I feel like I wanna cam-whore more. Well, I have another one…

And, here is another one…

Well never mind about that. You all well informed that Nuffnang will be organizing yet another movie screening coming this early September. Did anyone counted this is Nuffnang’s movie screening number?

Anyway, it will be happening this:
DATE - 1 September 2009 (Tuesday)
TIME - 9pm
VENUE - TGV One Utama

The Final Destination is the fourth installment of the popular series Final Destination. Please make this the last one or else I’ll be sick of it. Well, the story is about (as always) people with a premonition and déjà-vu sense that one can see people dies, it becomes the responsible of the one who can sense it to warn the rest that may involve. However, death is a tough nut, not easy to be cracked and in some sort of orders, one by one will succumbed to it, under certain act of force that initiate an accident. (Sorry if it sounds too technical!)

What's more interesting is you got to see them die in 3-D! Tell me anyone interested to see people ripped off their flesh or been tormented by unusual freaking accidents in 3-D? Come on, who does not!! Since the 3-D is the new gaga in town, why not.

To give you some taste on how people actually die in possibly 3D, enjoy this wallpaper... 'Muahahahaha'

Okay, all pictures of psycho-horrified are courtesy of webcam. Webcamwhore - the new ideas of life..

p/s: You won't be seeing the 3D version...too bad!!

What Is So Good Of Being A Punisher?

What Is So Good Of Being A Punisher?

According to dictionary.reference.com, the word 'Punisher' is derived from the root word of 'Punish' which means:
as verb (used with objects)
  1. to subject to pain, loss, confinement, death, etc., as a penalty for some offense, transgression, or fault:
  2. to inflict a penalty for (an offense, fault, etc.: to punish theft.
  3. to handle severely or roughly, as in a fight.
  4. to put to painful exertion, as a horse in racing.
  5. (informal) to make a heavy inroad on; deplete: to punish a quart of whiskey.
as verb (used without objects)
  1. to inflict punishment.
Well, here you ask again, what is so good about being a punisher? Maybe your enquiries can be answered by knowing what kind of people can actually punish others. In one part of the Wikipedia articles actually read this, "Punishments are applied for various purposes, most generally, to encourage and enforce proper behavior as defined by society or family".

Punishment can be done in psychology. Maybe you did heard about Operant Conditioning Theory. Remember this Russian scientist in early 20th century whom did the experiment to prove this theory by introducing food and bell ringing concept to his dog. This theory explains that we can actually uses stimuli responses to reduce a behaviour by applying it (positive punishment) or removing it (negative punishment).

Criminals are punished judicially. If you are a criminals; in the modern days you are most likely to be punished in these ways:
  1. Fines. Pay and you may leave.
  2. Corporal punishment. A deliberate act to inflict pain intended to punish or changing the person's behaviour. In Malaysia, this form of punishment is still been used to carry out caning on those who traffic drugs or a rapist.
  3. Custodial punishment. This simply means putting you into jail. Or else enroll you into rehabilitation programme if you are a drug addict
Punishment is also used in training and education. A teacher can punish his or her pupils or students by caning (which inflicting pain as punishment), which was once common in school. This is an act of corporal punishment as well. Others like when a kung fu master teaching the apprentice, the master will deliberately do something crazy so that you can learn the skills throughoutly. Not forget, remember the time when you are been punished by your parents when you did something naughty?

In yesteryears, when slavery was still at large; domestic, slaves and other form of slaves were subjected to the punishment by their master. Whereas for today, any employees can still be subject to a contractual form of fine or demotion.

Husband and wife, or lovely couples also punish each other (LOL). This form of punishment is called sadomasochism or in short SM. Sadism refers to sexual or non-sexual gratification in the infliction of pain or humiliation upon or by another person. Masochism refers to sexual or non-sexual gratification in the infliction of pain or humiliation upon oneself. OK, i don't think i need to further explain this, but you would know that SM practice does allows arousement, erotica sensation for the practitioner. (LOL)

Anyway, been a punisher is so great. You can punish people by the mean of whipping, shoot a bullet, chop with a knife, slam with a hammer, pierce with an arrow and so much more. At least this punisher is not some ordinaty dude. The Punisher aka Frank Castle will be appearing again in silver screen for the third time after the Marvel Comic adaptation in 1989 and 2004.

This time, Frank Castle will enbattled Mr Jigsaw, a recurring villain in comic book of The Punisher himself. Let see if The Punisher can defeat the evil army under the Jigsaw.

Err...wait the minute, please don't get confused of this Jigsaw though from the never-ending serial killer movie series called Saw!!!

UNDERWORLD VERSION 3.1

UNDERWORLD VERSION 3.1... This version is the tale of the misadventures of Green Tea dealing with Vampires and Werewolves. Well, not really!!

Last Monday, those people in Nuffnang were so kind to invite me to go to Cineleisure for a free movie. This is my second time attending Nuffnang movie screening. I initially almost could not made it to the event due to the fact that I don't have transport home to my hostel. Curfew 12 am in hostel and Cineleisure is way far from my hostel.

So, after some difficulties to look for possible driver at Innit Chatbox which I was later, able to ask someone to send me back, so I went to Cineleisure from Kuala Lumpur. Does anyone know how much time I spent just to go there? Coupled with bad and sudden traffic jam around KL and how efficient our public transport can be, it took me 2 and a half hours. First of all, I am trully sorry to Hitomi for been unable to come early. I was supposed to be there at 7.30 or something, but instead I was late by an hour. Imagine this:

HOSTEL >>> TITIWANGSA MONORAIL >>> KL SENTRAL MONORAIL >>> KL SENTRAL LRT >>> KELANA JAYA LRT >>> CINELEISURE....

Reach there at 7.30, met Hitomi and her friend Chris at Sakae Sushi, the place where they sell Japanese food with green frogs jumping around - Yeah right!!! I didn't want to have any Sakae Sushi since I ate my dinner at 5.30 pm. So it was the first time I met Hitomi after which I didn't have the chance prior at Youth 09. I found out that she loved to camwhore and test her camera. Here, DISCOVERY #1: CAMWHORE IS GOOD together with numerous evidences, sources from Hitomi's camera (all except the last two by Zhao).

Before that, I claimed my tickets and I found out that I won a Sword Letter Opener. I don't know how it looked like, but the Nuffnang told me I will not get it since they don't have. In exchange, they gave me a T-Shirt and an envelope of movie promos. Well, I went home that day without a sowrd to slay the vampires and werewolves. What a dissapointment!!!

During the event, I had opportunity to meet KY again after his attempt to become Rain last year; Simon whom he said he did not have any TVs; Zoe and Ah Yat whom I met after the movie for some supper and lychee moment; Mr Zhao and Andrew with their DSLR; Danielator and his friend Aaron whom was kind enough to give me a lift. Anyway, we went into the cinema hall while time was approaching 9.30.

In the theatre, the audience were entertained with several gorgeous trailers. The trailers were namely Terminator Salvation, The Punisher: War Zone and The Pink Panther 2. Terminator Salvation will be an awesome one (I hope) and I realized Christopher never really care about the movie much prior to it but after watching the trailer, he was so excited! The Punisher War Zone seems like a copycat from somewhere while The Pink Panther 2 was yet another funny film to watch soon. After The Pink Panther trailers, I realized that Hitomi was laughing so loud and I quickly drew this conclusion - beware when you want to bring her to go and watch The Pink Panther 2!! So here goes DISCOVER #2: THE ANTICIPATION FOR TERMINATOR SALVATION IS BUILDING UP.

Then the movie rolled in and throughout the movie, I realized only three things: The movie was so-so....Christopher was quiet the whole movie concentrating on what the story goes...Hitomi talked and laughed a lot about the movie scenes. Well, nothing wrong with that because my friend and I were also heavily discussing about the movie while watching the movie. Hitomi, you don't have to apologize because I did that too in the cinema and I think it is OK. (LOL). So here comes DISCOVERY #3: HITOMI TALKED A LOT DURING THE MOVIE.

The movie review as reviewed by Green Tea can be found here.

The movie clocked only 90 minutes with a very familiar ending. If you aware, the last scene was actually the first scene in the first Underworld. So I found out many people watched the movie without watching the first two Underworlds. I think it is still acceptable because Underworld: Rise of the Lycans is a prequel. The ending in this movie was a bit weird and cliffhanging as the story continues with Underworld. Because of that, many audiences that I met after the show expressed interest to search for the next two episodes to continue the saga. DISCOVERY #4: WATCHING UNDERWORLD: RISE OF THE LYCANS WILL INCOMPLETE WITHOUT THE FIRST TWOs.

That's all for this VERSION 3.1 with some 4 Discoveries of the Day.

I LOVE NUFFNANG and SIGNING OUT!!!

Mamma Mia! The Movie : A Tribute to ABBA

Sweden is a pretty nation of the Scandinavian. I have been there once in 2002, had a great time and wonderful moments there. The winter is extremely cold and the sight views are just magnificent. Besides been famous for its beautiful scenery, sourish delicacies, home for the Nobel Prize and some world's famous footballer, perhaps the greatest export by the Swedes ever was the musical group ABBA.

Mamma Mia! The Movie will be released soon in our local cinema and I just can't wait to watch it soon. I rather missed out the chances to watch it on crappy-pirated-DVD, rather try to enjoy the fun of songs on a cinema. I was looking forward for songs made famous by ABBA, obviously the musical group whom shot into stardom in the 70s, was perhaps one of the most favourite musical group ever. Others include Bee Gees and The Beatles. Abba's song is very catchy in tune with some hidden messages and themes underlying it. They topped the music chart in various countries and gaining fame worldwide at that time. My parents grew up listening to the Abba, just like many peoples in those days. During their popularity, ABBA made a huge impact on the pop culture, spinning hits after hits, touring in sold-out concerts all over the world, especially in Australia and Europe.

Most memorable tune you tend to heard somewhere, someway is perhaps the line from their songs. Due to their highly fame status on that time, a new word emerged - ABBAholics, used to describe the crowds of people consisting of Abba's truly near-hysterical fans. It is not a surprise to say that many of us may found ourself familiar these words are:

"Mamma Mia, here I go again.
My,my,how can I resist you"
or
"You are my dancing queen,
young and sweet only seventeen"
or
"Super Trouper beams are gonna blind me
but I won't feel blue"

Who can gorget those lines from their three most famous song, "Mamma Mia", "Dancing Queen" and "Super Trouper"? Those were the legend and legacy. That was in 1970s but too sad to said that they officailly broke up in 1982. The legend always bornt while it is still at peak. However, about three decades later, the revival of ABBA spirits were made possible by the Swedish teen techno-disco, A*Teens. Remember them? Remember their songs like "Upside Down" and "Halfway Around The World"?

In a tribute to the super trouper ABBA, a musical stage was made, inspired by Abba's hits and greatest tunes to come out with stage show - Mamma Mia! Since it was opened in London in 1999, the musical stage generated many viewers and millions have watched it. At once it was staged in Malaysia, not quite long ago.

Because of the success of the musical stage, a movie based on the adaptation of the West End musical stage and inspired heavily by the musics of the Abba, "Mamma Mia!" was made into the silver screen. The movie starred Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth; Tom Hanks and the two male members of ABBA served as the executive producers. The most interesting was that all the songs and the musics featured in the movie were created and penned by ABBA members themselves.

24 songs in the 108 minutes movie - Mamma Mia! is the movie I want to watch and catch. Join in the fun, why not you say. Of course it is one of those movie that everyone just can't wait. Abba's legacy and legendary and greatest hits, who would said no!! I wonder if James Bond aka Pierce Brosnan can really sing or not?

Before I left and stop this long post, here are five facts about ABBA:
(1) The name ABBA is derived from the acroynm from the first letters of each of the group member's given name - Agnetha Faltskog, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad.

(2) The ABBA logo was made initially as the band's promotional material from 1976 before it eventually became the group's registered trademark.

(3) ABBA's first number one song was "Waterloo", paving way for more number one songs later in their career. "Waterloo" was their winning song from the 1974 Eurovision.

(4) Agnetha and Bjorn, as well as Benny and Anni-Frid were married, however their success as a group take a tow where both marriages fell - ended up with divorce.

(5) Abba made 8 albums throughout their career - "Ring Ring", "Waterloo", "ABBA", "Arrival", "The Album", "Voulez-Vous", "Super Trouper" and "The Visitors"; all sold to an estimate 370 million copies.
