MALAYSIA DAY: THE REAL NATIONAL DAY STORY

This will be a three part article. First, we look at the real story behind the independence of Malaya.

It has been a long time since I wrote something that smells like a political ditch in this blog. Well, if you truly called what I am about to write as something political, I would rather called it an enlightenment and history. This year marks our first time ever celebrating Malaysia Day. You may ask, what is this Malaysia Day is all about? Of course, the education we perceived throughout the long years of been struck under the same syllabus of history textbook has taught us that the 'Independence Day' was 31 August 1957, while failed to acknowledge the true existence of Malaysia itself  which occurred on 16 September 1963. Ask yourself this, are you conscience enough as a Malaysian to realize the contrary between both National Day and Malaysia Day?

Let's turn our attention back on the real independence story. The Federation of Malaya consisted of the 11 states in the Penisular Malaysia, achieved independence back in August 31, 1957. We all learned that Tunku Abdul Rahman led a delegation to London to discuss the road to independence. Since the history textbook told you that UMNO start rolling the ball on the road for independence, we are asked to remember that and believe that. However, there is another side of the story regarding the independence. The coins will always have two sides in parity, equally chance of getting a head or tail when it is tossed.

So, what the history book failed to inform you is that the movement towards the independence of Malaysia? The first movement to initiate the demand for independence was made 10 years earlier by the Alliance PUTERA-AMCJA, the first think tank that consists of all races; even earlier than what was claimed to be the first unity coalition of UMON, MCA and MIC. To cut things short, watch the series of videos below:

DAY EIGHT: TODAY I WATCH CRIMES

First of all, it's Day Eight!! Yes, Eight down, 23 to go...

This peaceful Saturday afternoon (or rather something troubling), I watched crimes. No, I'm not witnessing some jack-ass been mugged on the street, or some bitch got raped or maybe some poor dudes got shot in the skull. I watched a classic crime movie, by none other than Martin Scorsese's Casino.

Casino, a 1995 crime drama stars Scorsese's best pal - Robert DeNiro, Sharon Stone, Joe Pesci and Frank Vincent. It retells the story of Frank Rosenthal, although its more like a fiction based on the factual life. Inspired by the tale of a man with plenty of cash in the vault, bank and casino.

It was as good as all the motherf**ker, f-swearing piece of shit it can be. I counted 427 F* and F* related words happily uttered in spree across the film. The story was amazingly engaging and it highlights what mobs do.

To Marty and Robert DeNiro, I salute!!

UNREPORTED WORLD MALAYSIA - ASIA'S SLAVE

Malaysia is one of those developing nation that has achieved so much economical growth over the years. For years, Malaysia becomes a hub for Indonesian, Burmese, Filipino and Bangladeshi workers to earn a living and money to be send back to their home. One can argue that with RM 1,500 per month is nothing but having a scrap through life. In big cities like Kuala Lumpur, the figure is considered as the bar line for having a normal living, subjected on how you want to spend them!

But what if they are some who earn even less than that? These are the reality faced by these foreign workers – they earned as little as RM 500 per month (although the figure is still higher when they were back at their country!). Never mind about the little pays, they are foreigners and they don’t deserve the whole pie. But what happen after working for 18 hours a day for 10 months but you don’t get a single cent from your employer? Imagine that, too much! Or what about those who has been physically and sexually abused? Imagine that, unbearable! You decided to leave but only that you can’t because your passport – the freedom pass is at the hands of your reckless employer! Imagine that, inhuman! You turned your attention to seek help from the authorities. Authorities who? Would you expect police or RELA member, or even the Home Minister or PM to help you? When you try to go public, everyone is hunting for you and it's just get better, sounding like one adrenaline-rushed action film.

What have been I said earlier are the truth that are hard to be swallowed – a reality of what happened and experienced by the immigrants. What you did not see doesn’t mean that it didn’t happened and what you ignored tends to be something serious! The following video was never been featured in Malaysia and will never will. Thus, I take a step forward by digging this thing to you. Like Mulder and Scully used to say; the truth is out there! Watch, learn and understand the concept of human trafficking. In the end of the day, ask yourselves – is it about our moral virtue or the greed of money should we blame? We know that the money is the roots of evil deed!

It's a 2006 video but who said things don't persist till these days

WHAT A SHAME! WHERE IS THE SPORTMANSHIP?

Two big dogs are barking at each other on the other side of the fence. Each wants a piece of bone that is only available for one of them. There is nothing to choose between these two canines other than keep barking at each other as furious as possible to show who is the boss. The one which barks the loudest would win the jewel prize of a piece of bone.

However, in sports, barking louder does not guarantee any success nor victory. In sport, actions prove to be louder than any words. Pundits can throw their betting, analysis and opinions on who should and why this should be the case result. Off-field pundits do not transfer well into the on-field performance and results.

This is the case when there are two big bosses for different airline companies have emerged as the main force to drive their own new Formula One teams. In the British Isles we have Sir Richard Branson, the owner of Virgin Atlantic Airways, who is also the owner for Virgin F1 Racing team. On the other part of the world, we have our own Malaysian's Dato' Tony Fernandez, the founder of Air Asia and team principal of Lotus F1 team.

The two influencer in aviation industry once worked together and it is by no surprise that they share the same passion and experiences. These passions are something that is well-mixed in their bloodstreams. But alas, what a shame! Been the two biggest players where all Formula One is all about money that are thrown just to erect the loudest and fastest car, but to condemn the spirit of sportmanship is no gentlemen at all.

Lotus F1 and Virgin Racing are among the four new teams competing in the 2010 Formula One season. Next season's Formula One is about to create history by making a very much different atmosphere than the one we used to endure before. While the testing season, which will pretty much indicate and gauge each team's performance is far from begin, the challenging season has started between these two bosses.

Fernandes recently quipped that his only target in the new F1 season was to beat Branson; otherwise, he would retire and kill himself.

Branson then suggested something less macabre.

"He has an airline. We have an airline. If we beat him, he can come and work on one of our airlines as a Virgin stewardess. It will save him having to kill himself but we'll make sure the stewardess outfit is perfect." Richard Branson.

The next thing you heard in the paper the next morning is how Dato' Tony Fernandes kindly accepted the offer.

"Our guests will be delighted to be served by a knight of the realm. But knowing Richard, the real challenge will be to prevent him from asking our guests 'coffee, tea or me?'" Tony Fernandes.

Fernandes said if Branson lost the challenge, he would be assigned to duty on board a flight operated by AirAsia X. "We'd like to keep him with us for a longer flight rather than the short-haul flights operated by AirAsia. We'll be applying soon to the Department of Civil Aviation to gain clearance for him."

So, these two bosses are willing to sell their own dignity just to create some nice scene for the F1 fans to see. But I bet not many of us will buy them. It's not only the personal agendas are put into gamble on the Russian roulette table, but the national interests as well. Forget about this shameless challenging verbs been thrown at each other, the end result from the on field car racing is what matter most. This is the day when the sports-world lost its spirit of sportmanship for awhile.

DSLR HERE AND THERE

When it comes to taking pictures, we all know how it will be very handful to have a camera with you. With these cameras, we not only be able to take pictures for capturing those cherish and savour moments with family and friends but also a competition to see who has the best!!??

Okay, I may sound understatement here but I cannot hide myself from how much I'm beginning to hate a certain camera model (not user, just their camera). I may not be so knowledgeable when talking about the art of photography and camera technology.

Yes, DSLR. The bulky junky camera you can so-afford to own. Because I'm so noob about camera, I went to wikipedia to check the thing out. In the end, I can not understand a single word.

As I mention earlier, I am so annoyed with this particular camera model. Seriously!! People can not stop talking about it (I'm fine) but when they start to click those buttons on that huge gigantic camera, I sometimes get annoyed.

It happened recently when we decided to take a group-picture from a gathering. It was supposed to be a normal group photos but the DSLR cameras made my life difficult only. Imagine how much time you need to take a group photo? 2 minutes max!! With DSLR, you need about 5 to 10 minutes to take a picture.

The reasons are obvious. TESTING. ADJUST FREAKING SETTINGS. TAKE SEVERAL AND CHOOSE THE BEST. But the other not many notice is SHOWING OFF. The author of this blog is not rich, so please stop showing off your richness in front of me. Even if this camera drop in front of me or just that some one give it to me, I WILL SELL IT!!

DSLR is a professional type of camera, designed only for professional use, for the work of a professional only. After some inner though discussion with some new business buddies, whom none of them owned DSLR, I was amazed by another fact that seems to point DSLR into some sort of disadvantages as well.

Although DSLR is highly recommendable for photo shooting of scenery, human and object models and so on, DSLR pictures are not so recommended for moving objects, blogs and websites. DSLR pictures tend to gallop about 3MB in size and further editing and photoshopping are mantadory to reduce the size to around 100kB minimum to 1MB in most cases which is still a big size to consider. Even if you go and plagiarise from websites by taking pictures via "Save Image As", you still get good pictures at a lower size.

Photos at this big size when uploaded into the Blogger will consuming much of your space and will easily used up the limit of 1GB size. You may argue the use of external photo gallery such as Photobucket or Flixter, however. Do rememeber that the loading time will become extremely long and most reader will decided to read on without even viewing your half loading pictures. Internet in Malaysia is not as fast as those in Japan.

After all, a photo from a normal camera or from DSLR are still pictures. Yes, I admit that the photos from DSLR has a better and superior quality compared to the rest. In the end of the day, these are still photos. On my opinion, I still think that with proper lighting and background, a film-reel camera can produce a good quality of picture as well. With the price tag of 6K and for a brand name of superiority, DSLR serves not as a hobby item and it simply over-priced. DSLR should be reserved in the hands of the professional photographer. Because you own a DSLR, does not mean you are a professional photographer.

Please continue to read on from this more professional views than me regarding the disadvantages of DSLR. It seems that people only talk about the good but avoiding the bad of it.

IT'S BEEN M.I.A.

Dear readers of Green Tea World,

I'm sorry that due to the long five-days holiday of Hari Raya, the blogs were left without any new updates and news from me. Well, as the holidays roaming in, so does the mood and I really need a time for a break then. Blogging is not anything in this world and thus a five days break isn't that much, right?

Here is something for you on these coming days where I will settle myself back into blogging mode again. Anyway, since I left without any news, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all Muslim people a Happy Raya Eid-Mubarrak, Salam Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir dan Batin.

With September drawing near to an end, I guess that time for Christmas again is inching closer as well.

Adios.

WHY CAN'T WE DO OUR JOB PROPERLY?

Now, let me ask you an important question - How many times that your work cannot be completed on time because the group you are in is such de-motivating and non-sense? De-motivating that the attitude of the other members are so jerking and annoying. This couple with how non-sense certain quarter can come out with some ridiculous ideas that contribute nothing into the task force.

Well, if you have been experiencing it, whether you are or not as the same kind of person been described - or you knew someone within your group are such a jerk...FEAR NOT because you are not the only one with this situation heavily on your shoulder.

Some says that there is something wrong with the way Malaysians do works. This probably due to:
1) Everyone keeps pointing finger at each other when things are not going into plan - you know blaming other
2) Everyone seems not interested in giving out a proper and well-constructed idea, instead those ridiculous one
3) Everyone do not like to do the task heart-fully instead they like to do things in what Malaysian called "selamba" - enough to finish the work while neglecting aspects of quality and quantity
4) Everyone seems more interested to protect or denying their own involvement on certain things
5) Everyone just can't do things in efficient way or so

Tell me, it was not hard to make a job done well. You need to commit yourself into the group work and then, things will lead you to the goals.

Before I end, I would like to share you this:

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.

There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.

Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.

Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.

Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.

It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

THE SHAME OF THIS DUDE

If you have followed the local news recently, I am sure we all have heard of the issue. This conclude what I am about to say. You ready? It is a shame that the MCA (Malaysian Chinese Association), the oldest Chinese-based political party in Malaysia is again rocked by the internal issues.

Not long ago, there was MCA A and MCA B teams throwing plastic chairs and exchanging abusive words among each other. That was when Tun Dr Ling Liong Sik was the president. The issues was none other than lack of understanding between president and deputy president.

That was a decade ago but history tends to get repeated again and again.

In 2009, we have another crisis looming and ruining the credibility of MCA yet again.

It all started when this dude was captured having SEX with some woman. Those savoring moments ended up in a DVD and widely distributed early 2008. He was the vice president back then and how Malaysian celebrated the New Year of 2008 was by accepting the confession made by he himself, admitting that he was the person featured in a sensational sex DVD that was widely being circulated in Johor. So, he quited all posts within the party and cabinet.

October last year, this dude in the meanwhile won the president post by beating the other opponent - Datuk Dr Chua Jui Meng. He was the top and the earlier dude also made an amazing political comeback by winning the deputy president post by beating then secretary-general Datuk Seri Ong Ka Chuan - proving otherwise that his popularity remained high.

But those were history and quickly last months, two separated events but pretty much related to each other occured and again the boat of MCA was heading for a split yet again.

FIRST - The "Edison" dude was removed from his deputy president post for allegedly tarnishing the party’s image over the disclosure in late 2007 of a secret recording showing him engaging in sex acts with his mistress - which is BULLSHIT and NOT AT THE RIGHT TIMING TO DO AS WELL.

SECOND - The "KingPin" was accused of receiving donation money of RM 10 million in three separate cash installments by Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing, CEO of Kuala Dimensi Sdn Bhd as "donation" while the deputy CEO Datuk Faisal Abdullah also said in the same report that Ong had used the company’s private jet five times, incurring fuel and other expenses amounting to US$40,000 which Ong admitted.

SO WHAT NOW?

Some ask the "KingPin to step down while he himself is trying his best to defend his right, probably will be holding an EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING in within 30 days. What is the point? Even his rival-"Edison"s supporter are asking him to abdicate as well.

Who ever is true or not is no longer a matter. The point is you are tarnishing the credibility of MCA which I never cared for my whole life. Since MCA is like the image symbol of the Chinese community in Malaysia, I felt insulted that such peoples are loitering around - what a disgrace!

Another drama or not - it still shows those goons will never changed. The same fact goes to those cronies within the BN as well - and I assumed that every goon on that "weight-leveller' party is just as corrupted as each other. Money, money, money - all about money but it never been used in a proper way.

WELL, SHAME ON YOU!!!!

I Don’t Want to Rest in Pieces like Final Destination

Dear readers of Green Tea World,

Death is a natural occurrence due to accidents, diseases or some sort of freaking events. Death is so mysterious, so unexpected, so freaking. People die everyday –now you called it a natural order or natural events.

But here is something for you to ponder.
1) How is the facial expression when one is going to die?
2) What does the person see before he/she dies?

Maybe this is the possible answers. Please don’t be afraid when you see this picture.

NOW THIS IS THE OFFICIAL ONE I'M USING FOR THE CONTEST!!

Seriously, don’t! Call it what ever you want for this kind of face but I can tell you that this looks more like a retarded, distorted and psycho face rather than a supposed to be horrified and scary face.

Suddenly I feel like I wanna cam-whore more. Well, I have another one…

And, here is another one…

Well never mind about that. You all well informed that Nuffnang will be organizing yet another movie screening coming this early September. Did anyone counted this is Nuffnang’s movie screening number?

Anyway, it will be happening this:
DATE - 1 September 2009 (Tuesday)
TIME - 9pm
VENUE - TGV One Utama

The Final Destination is the fourth installment of the popular series Final Destination. Please make this the last one or else I’ll be sick of it. Well, the story is about (as always) people with a premonition and déjà-vu sense that one can see people dies, it becomes the responsible of the one who can sense it to warn the rest that may involve. However, death is a tough nut, not easy to be cracked and in some sort of orders, one by one will succumbed to it, under certain act of force that initiate an accident. (Sorry if it sounds too technical!)

What's more interesting is you got to see them die in 3-D! Tell me anyone interested to see people ripped off their flesh or been tormented by unusual freaking accidents in 3-D? Come on, who does not!! Since the 3-D is the new gaga in town, why not.

To give you some taste on how people actually die in possibly 3D, enjoy this wallpaper... 'Muahahahaha'

Okay, all pictures of psycho-horrified are courtesy of webcam. Webcamwhore - the new ideas of life..

p/s: You won't be seeing the 3D version...too bad!!

FLYING TAXI IN TAIPING, BUT IT DIDN'T END UP WELL

Anyone in Taiping saw this?

Yeah, this is a flying taxi, the one and only such in the world that was built by a company called Avcen Ltd which is based in Britain. Since 1998, they have been actively testing, assembling and promoting the use of Jetpod, an aircraft that can hover around at the height of only 200 metres in average and can be commercialize as a flying taxi with capability to taxi 8 peoples. The flying taxi is due to be ready in 2010.

However, today something initiates as big event to test the Jetpod turned ugly. The Jetpod, tested by its inventor Michael Robert Dacre, 53, who was piloting the taxi, crashed and burst into a ball flames during a test flight at Tekah, somewhere in Taiping I guess. (As reported here at The Star)

The crash happened at 12.30pm Sunday, killing Dacre, who is also Avcen's managing director.

According to Wikipedia, Jetpod is a design proposal for a very quiet aircraft that can take off and land in a short distance or acronym as STOL - 125 metres to be exactly. It is not really a helicopter but it can be used as a military aircraft for transportation, medium-range air taxi or as an executive transport. It can reach a maximum speed of 550km/h. I WALK VERY FAST SO I'M ABNORMAL

Let us picture this - you are walking along this alley on one busy day. You are in hurry because you may be late for something urgent. Unfortunately, while you are walking in hurried pace, you stumble upon this 'human traffic jam' but there is not that many people around you. This so called 'jam' is caused by some 'human roadblock' (you know who and which type of people) whom prefer to take their own sweet time to stroll along the sidewalk by walking slowly. You want to pass these group of people but they somehow form an ' annoying-kinda-like-barrier' in front of you.

Have you ever encounter this kind of problem?

Note: Bear in mind, the person in front of you is not some handicapped and elders in whom I would beg to exclude these people from the so called 'annoying list'. They are not old nor are they blind. They may be some family with hundreds of kids or some group of ignorant friends.

(If you don't know what I am crapping about, just let it be, click 'X' on the top right corner)

Well, this happen many times in my life and it happens yet again today. There are this young ladies walking so slow, chatting around and making some jokes to each other about one of the fat cousins. I am in hurry because the KTM Komuter train that I'm trying to board has arrived on the platform. Be it, in just a perfect moment and timing, they form the 'human roadblocks' along the stairs. In the end, train gone and I have to wait for another train which idiotically will only arrive in the next 25 minutes.

Annoying as it may seems but behind this fact, it is so obvious that a majority of the Malaysians walk very slow. According to my lecturer, this phenomenon is so endemic in this country and it reflects something troublesome (or maybe not). He told me once, a society who walks slowly and taking a moment of their own sweet times tend to lag behind a little bit compared to the other society.

Perhaps, let me ask you this? Is what he said made sense? Come on, look around you!!

So now that I walk relatively faster than these people and I am still a Malaysian. does it makes me an abnormal Malaysian?

THE H1N1 SAGA IS HERE...

The outbreak of the Influenza A (H1N1) pandemic seems like to be the most talked about story yet so far. It was only last month that the total of cases of reported to the Ministry of Health was only less than 150. However, a full month later, the number of cases leaps more than 600% to over 1,100 cases. Only in this week alone, 4 deaths were reported.

I sensed that with the outbreak been a little beyond and out of control where more than 50 cases reported daily, it was not that hard to convince myself that someday the outbreak will eventually hit the area inside my campus fences. What feared the most were that the outbreak will become more widespread and situation might get worst with time.

The prediction eventually came true on Sunday (July 26, 2009). Not that I am glad that this thing had happen but the implications will not be pleasing at all. With the difficulty to content the widespread, the pandemic will eventually hit the campus finally if not now. With the announcement that the Influenza A (H1N1) has finally arrived, my campus was officially shut down for a period of a week.

Guess what happen and that day, it kinds of making me frustrated and irritated.

DAYS BEFORE: There were reports of students in the hostel fell ill with showing symptoms of flu-like

SUNDAY (26 JULY): An estimated more than 50 students were ill and shows flu-like symptoms in the hostel. Suspected cases of H1N1 were reported and the hostel administration received letter from the MOH to shut down the hostel for a week for quarantine purposes.

MONDAY (27 JULY):
8.00 am – Class as usual as if nothing had happen. I arrived at my campus and there are many students still around.
9.26 am – Some students informed our lecturer that the students should go back to the hostel or their home with immediate effects. Hoax or false alarm you may call it but it eventually was true.
9.54 am – Now I felt limbo because since there were official announcement been made on the official university site or from any notice board, I cannot leave just like that. The administration was still discussing whether total shut down is necessary (WHAT!!)
10.40 am – Morning classes for my faculty has been cancelled but afternoon classes still in limbo.
10.52 am – I went to library but it was closed. I realized that the laboratory, computer lab and clinics were closed, leaving me nowhere to go.
12.30 pm – Afternoon classes were cancelled but classes for the next day remains in limbo. For update, we have to stick ourselves to the Facebook. (AGAIN WHAT!!)
2.54pm – I received text from a friend of mine that the classes will be suspended for a week.

What irritates me is the fact that they were so limbo and inefficient in taking actions.
  1. If there are students been infected and been asked to close down the hostel, why didn’t they do it in the first place on Sunday night? They still allowed students to leave the hostel for classes when quarantine was supposed to be undergone. So what happen to the “Quarantine”?
  2. If the hostel was closed, why didn’t the campus been closed at the first place? If no one was supposed to leave the hostel, how many people will attend for classes then? With more than half of the students staying in hostels, would it be logical that classes still be held?
  3. When instructed to return to the hostel and while other students from other faculty have done so, why do we have to wait for so long for a so-called ‘Official Decision” to be announced? If the classes needed to be suspended in the wake of such circumstances, why would they need to discuss for such a length until a decision was made?

Logically, should they take the actions sterner and appropriately in the first place? Why risk more local transmission among the students who went to the campus because they didn’t shut down the hostel in the first place? Why would take a long time to decide what to do?

In emergency time when outbreaks occur, would you expect things like this to occur? Blame it on the bureaucracy, please! Things like this should not have happen. Failed professionalism, failed mentality. That’s Malaysia.

WHO ARE YOU IN INNIT?

Alas, the author was down with the flu strains known as H99N99 this whole week, which explains the absence from updating this blog in any manner. Thus, the readership for this blog has gone down and it is time to re-boost it back!! How you ask? Simple, take some controversial topic and make it big. I thought that is what bloggers do.

Now, I am sure that almost everyone knows what is the Innit for and Nuffnangers always hang around there almost all the time, chatting, gossiping and a new word "Nang-whore". That includes me (maybe not so into the third one). Been thankful, I have met a tremendous number of fellow bloggers over my one whole year in Nuffnang, something critical as a blogger to expand the readerships, popularity and of course earnings.

Honestly speaking, Innit is not a pretty heavenly place as you think it is. It is a filthy place, biased, judgemental and a lot of whoring activities going down there! In Innit you can find all sorts of people, in which they are some that I like, some I dislike and some I hate. Then, ask yourself this question, who are you in Innit?

01. NANG-WHORING

I think I mentioned numerous time in the past and yet people still loves to do this. Is "Nang" really that important? Many peoples have come out with their own theories on how to get high nangs and I believe these theories are somewhat true. Nang-whoring is defined as an act of keep asking people to nang their post. Simply to say, this is not so much different than begging or hooking around.

SIGNS IF YOU ARE ONE:

  • You keep posting your Innit link on the chatbox when people are chatting of something else. Imagine this, when people are talking about nice pizzas in a cafe, you come in suddenly and ask about a good Ferrari sparepart!!
  • You try to be nice with people, get their MSN and one day you MSN-bombed everyone on your contact list to inform them. Now imagine this, you didn't set the alarm for that Sunday morning but your alarm clock out of its madness just buzzed you off at 6AM and you feel like you want to throw the alarm into a bin.
  • You ask for nang from a specific person on the chatbox.
  • You ask for link exchange when you don't really know the real concept of link exchange itself.
  • You become an attention seeker on the chatbox. You try so hard to get into the conversation that you end up still blur but you act like you know, rather than stay quiet and get the facts right first.

02. PHOTOCOPY MACHINE

This is an ethical breach, seriously. How many times you walk into a post which promises you with something sensational and you found the article so familiar that soon you realize it is actually a copy and paste from another main sources? Simply to say, you read the post and it's 90% copied from Wikipedia, Google, Yahoo, CNN, BBC,etc. Oh, just read at the recent H1N1 posts saga or the bitch snapping her employer's cock thingy, is not it obvious it is from some news articles! By adding another 10% of your comments which is only a paragraph of 2 sentence to justify its your post, come on, get a life.

SIGNS IF YOU ARE ONE:
  • You copy and paste an external article from much fame resources, with or without crediting it back to the source. Imagine this, you spend an hourwriting an essay for exam and someone copied the exact way as yours and add some thought of his own, but that fella scores higher than you!!
  • You post Innit links like the world is going to end soon, particularly those blog running on news articles. They can post their links in succession, possibly 10 links in the main page in one go. This one can be a characteristic of nang-whoring as well. Hmmm, i can't find a metaphor for this!!

03. POTONG STIMMER (English call what? Steam cutter?)

This is absolutely working tactics but then, it annoys and irritates people. How many time you look through a title, sounds so explosive and sensational, promising that you will enjoy it very much? Many, well, I understand how you feel. Given the perverts are looming all around Innit, given catchy title will always attract people's attention, so this steam cutting will always happen.

SIGNS IF YOU ARE ONE:
  • You make a sensational title on Innit post that have nothing related to its content. Imagine a ice-cream man not selling ice creams although he is driving on his typical ice cream van!!
  • You make a sensational title on Innit post and somehow build up people's expectation and high hopes, in the end it falters. Why? Because you said "13 Years Old Having Sex For 9999 Times" and yet it is a news article form some porn shop. Good, got some co-incidence with the number 2 above.
  • You need to do a preview, view and review of some event and stuffs you do. Need to do preview for what? This one can go to number 1 and 4 as well. Although its not a sin in a whole, can't you just straight to the point. I know, you do it because of you want to have traffic.

04. ATTENTION SEEKER

As in number 1, attention seeker is a general term and has a broad wider spectrum of meaning and perspective views.

SIGNS IF YOU ARE ONE:
  • You try to grab people's attention by claiming you went somewhere SPECIAL, you attended this SPECIAL event or you claimed this is the best SPECIAL thing you have done, saw or heard while the topic is related or not at all with the conversation and whether the topic is new or old. Confusing? Yeap? read again slowly and decipher again. Still can't understand, leave your comment on the comment box so I can keep in touch with you and answer your question. Ahh, I just did my LG Party Post but I lazy wanna put on Innit, so come to my blog la. Wait a minute, the bolded lines are the fine good examples you can find in Innit chatbox, don't they?
  • You try to bitch into a conversation.
  • You informed the person that you have just nanged the person in hopes that the person will nanged yours too.

In the end of the day,
  • NANG is not a unit of measuring how good or how crap your posts are. It measures your popularity only. Therefore, you will get event posts and rubbish posts earning more nangs than others. I pity those who really put in theior efforts for writing something interesting.
  • If you do not get into the Top 10 Most Popular Chart, your post will be abandoned from the blogosphere. How many are willing to scroll backward and read? Therefore once you are in Top 10, it creates awareness inside the blogosphere.
  • Top 10 are always been ruled by the same and particular person. NO COMMENT for this.
  • If you think your NANG is EXCEPTIONALLY high, long gone the day when you can reached more 200 nangs exactly a year ago.
Anymore you want to add. I am sure after I post this, I am expecting a lot of hate mails. I have to get ready and brace myself for this. Ahh, HEADACHE...

IT WAS A GRUMPY DAY

I do not wish to taint this blog with my grumpiness and bad emotion for the sake of my discontent over some actions on my blog. I believe my blog should never been a place for me to rant about my unhappiness. By the way, I am sorry if this post sounds like I am in bad mood or show the other unwanted furious of me. To begin with, I would like to state that I AM NOT ANGRY, BUT MERELY FEEL DISAPPOINTED!!!

Why organizing a gathering if no one want to appreciate the effort we try to put in?

Why organizing a gathering when people cannot confirm their attendence or keep twisting the plan here and there?

Why organizing a gathering when you have another gathering in place?

Well, been an organizer for gathering is not easy. It's not only the commitment the organizer have to give, but also on those who want to attend.

For the facts in my hand, there is suppose to be a small gathering to welcome our friend from Singapore here. So, on that Sunday night, I even told her how to get to the place we wish to meet up. Therefore, there was a gathering-will be held on Friday. The gathering discussion was known to the knowledge of three persons including me.

The worst thing was that, I have a few assignments catching up my tail and indeed I have no choice but to keep away from the tempting internet and of course the Innit Chatbox. I am sure that MSN and my phone was still on all these while. The other thing was I didn't know there was another gathering in option or alternative been even discussed (a day prior to Friday for a replacement of Friday itself).

Anyway, I do not wish to continue the story because I just think all of these are just enough for me. I think you know who you are and those who didn't tell me that the gathering on Friday was cancelled. The best thing was WHY I KEPT ON PUTTING MY NUMBER and MSN ON MY BLOG WHEN NO ONE MAKE USED OF IT TO CONTACT ME WHILE I'M SO WORRIED ABOUT SOME IRRESPONSIBLE PEOPLES SPAMMING MY INBOX? The other best thing was WHY CANCEL IT OR CHANGING IT WITHOUT INFORMING THE PERSON WHO FIRST KNEW ABOUT IT?

I do not want to continue and please after you read this post, please do not comment about it. I turn off the comment for this post. Why want to comment on something that had passed and not worthy to talk about anymore. The most interesting is that this is not the first time I am upset over it. I still remember things like this happened during the Starbucks Christmas Party, December 08 Gathering, and SushiKing Thaipusam Gathering.

AS I SAID EARLIER, I am not angry with you guys. I love you guys because you are the best friends I ever had and met from some online community. We shared the same passion for blogging and to make friend. I am just disappointed that we the advanced in technology, no one care or bother to inform!!

WHO EVER THEY ARE, HUMAN ARE JUST ARROGANT

It was supposed to be match of the week, but after 74 minutes into the game, it turned sour and it turned very ugly. After 90 minutes of lifeless performance by my favourite team, it quickly turned hopes into dopes. I agreed, should the nervousness and the plans went well, the ending may not be like this. Eventually I could not stand it anymore, walked out of the cafeteria where all eyes of the fans or the anti-fans were fixing to the medium-sized television in the dining hall. Later, I went to my room and I just bursted into tears while still typing the message into the Innit chatbox.

Yes, last Saturday, it was the day when all Manchester United fans gloomed. We mourned for our lost in the hands of the in-form Kop. We failed to defend our good record against them in our home, Old Trafford since 1936. We failed, outclassed, outpaced and outsmarted in all forms. I don't really care if they lost the game but the defeat at such number is a humiliation. However, as the disappointment looming and growing expansionally, with the jeers of all the Liverpool fan; I was still fortunated that there were some good words coming out from peoples surrounding me.

Oh yes, losing a game even as terrible as this will not make any differences. Manchester United is still on a less-cushioned 4 points lead with an extra gane in hand. Losing a game whether a big margin or small margin still gives no point and winning a game big or small is still worth a three points. There is one even reminded me that any teams in the world will eventually need a wake up call. Barcelona and Real Madrid were once a champion of Europe. So do Juventus or Inter Milan or even Liverpool itself whom had won any trophy they contested. Once a champion, there is no assurance that you will remain a champion tomorrow.

1-4 defeat to Liverpool is really a wake up call. A solid defence line up for the past two seasons headlined by Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand with Edwin Van Der Sar on the goal mouth had rarely did mistake for all this while. Truly last Saturday was not their night. Performances on the midfield failed to shine as well with most passes mis-Q terribly. However, those dark episode is just one of hundreds episode need to endure by each giant team every season. It is a lost that humiliate us and make us humble-down-to-Earth and this is just football. Whatever written on the piece of paper may not translate well into a result. Champion or no champion, some day they will bow down.

This morning, when I read the paper when Mr. Rafael benitez claimed that since Liverpool had beaten both Real Madrid and Manchester United in a single week, especially Manchester United been the European champion and world champion, they can now claimed themselves as the true champion. Manchester United fans may regard this remark as somehow arrogant. It is the same way the Liverpool fans may regarded all those remarks made by Sir Alex Ferguson himself over the last two seasons. The same statement was uttered by Rafa few years back when they won the Champions League which in the end, they did not defended their title at all and mostly played as rank third behind Manchester United and Chelsea.

Even the mastermind of once mighty Chelsea, Jose Mourinho when they were the dominant in 2006 and 2007, although failed to win the European Champions League, also once said that Chelsea was the best team in the world. Ironically, they failed to win the European club title, not at one under Mourinho's helm. Not to forget, Arsene Wenger also claimed that they have the best and talented team in the world but yet still unable to make any impact, while winning three times of the Premier League since inauguration in 1992.

So, who ever they are, human will always been arrogant. In football, tell me which of them never been arrogantly said that they are the best team in the World? Who said Fergie didn't? Who said Rafa never said so? Who said Chelsea or Arsene Wenger never? In football, arrogancy plays a vital role in building the team spirit or destroying reputation once they fall.

Come on, tell me who is not selfish and arrogant in this world? As a football fans, you only have two options, two roads in front of you - Manchester United fan or no Manchester United fan. What disgust me the most, some people wearing Arsenal's or Chelsea's jerseys and pledged support for Liverpool. Or else some Liverpool fan supported Chelsea or Arsenal when playing against Manchester United. This is reality. It's either you love or you hate them.

Malaysia: Land of Froggies

It's been ages I wrote anything political to challenge my mentality and it is really hard to do so.

I guess from today onwards, we should be proud that Malaysia is a nation with the most frogs in the world. Not the amphibians I'm afraid. These frogs can simply leap here and there. When things like these can turn ugly, they leave a pool of dungs on both side. This is what we can visualize by labelling them 'froggies' as they can jump-boarding where ever they want. Been a free country but low in intelligence, this is Malaysia, welcome to the land of 'froggies'.

I personally disagree with those elected representatives been ignorant to the voters who voted them by leap-frogging sides. Before the election, they proudly claimed they were the deserved one, promising they will do what ever their best for the people they are representing. However, when they won the election, they behave above any God. For personal gain, they will move to the other party. Been ignorant and irresponsible to those whom voted for them. Mind you, people voted for the candidates based on political ideology not whether you are some famous figure or not.

Enough of the methaphor, back to the business. The frogs that I mentioned are actually refering to the four Perak State Assemblymen whom jump-ship from Pakatan Rakyat (People's Alliance) to Barisan Nasional hours ago. The four are Behrang's Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi, Changkat Jering's Mohd Osman Mohd Jailu, Jelapang's Hee Yit Foong and recently defected Bota's Nasarudin Hashim. The defections occur again in what we the Malaysians are hoping for a push towards a liberal and democratic politic scenario. However, the hopes that the oppositions hope for had backfired them dearly.

The chaotic situation in Perak today is not something new. Let's turn our attention to what had happened 15 years ago when the same 'froggie' issue occured in Sabah. In 1994, Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) won the state election, thus retaining the power in Sabah. However, they only grabbed 25 out of 48 state seats which can be vital as things can changed if 1 or 2 jump aboard. At the same time, UMNO is trying to penetrate its wing into Sabah. The froggie issue materialize 3 weeks later following massive exodus of the PBS assemblymen to leap into BN, thus increasing the power the UMNO had where many had joined UMNO back then.

Last year during the 2008 General Election, the Malaysians seen a great tides of tsunami that had changed the political landscape. The ruling BN lost its two-third majority, while the oppositions led by PKR, DAP and PAS gained much grounds. The momentum continues when PR won the previously held 2 by-elections. As it stands today, BN has 137 in parliament, PR (with PSM) has 82 while independences have 3. However, the PR's momentum in Malaysia politics were halted when the Perak PR-led government was on verge of collapse.

As of 6pm, it was assured that the BN will now lead the Perak state if it is confirm that BN now have 31 to 28 PR state seats from previous 28-31. Leap-frog as this is called, they are fortunate for there is no law that forbids one from doing so. Maybe it is fated, PR cannot last long if BN is still in power. I think their next step is to reclaim Kedah back or even Selangor.

Whatever the situation is, with the issues hanged in balance between BN and PR, the best solution is to submit the power back into the Perakian voters. Although this is the realistic approaches, things are not likely to be done. There is no way a fresh election will be called because of several reasons; the royal family may get threats if calls for fresh election was made, the majority will always win, PR entities are treated seperately while all BN components are considered one and the imminent 'froggies' around. The peoples' voice will be back in the next general election. Till then, PR - learn from what had happened in Sabah 15 years ago.

I HATE FROGGIES LEAPING, SERIOUSLY. They are the traitors of the voters. I guess I'm not the only one who shared the opinion about how annoying the 'froggies' are.

Wars and Boycotts 2

My post regarding the Gaza issues has generated much of debates and differences in terms of ideologies from every vantage point. If you have not read the so-called controversial post - here is the link. In this edition, I will try my best to recap at all the 14 comments that I have received and give some feedbacks. There were no rights or wrongs on your comments because they merely represents your stands on this issues, so I hope you guys don't get too hype over it.

Susane said... "I used to be forced to joint this kind of program(street protest&etc) I remembered I was in my 1st year at uni. Luckily I'm able too escape eventually"

I remembered recently that our good Minister of Education suggested the students to take part in some student movements to protest and promote hate against the Jewish. I agree that the decision made by Israel to act against Gaza was so wrong that the innocent civilians became the shooting target there. But, inflicting hates into others are just not right. If you are a Christian, you are almost assured to have heard on how Jesus Christ has told its followers to not to hate their enemy, but instead "love" them. The reason was hating your enemy will only encourage violences and avenges, in which it makes no much different between you and your enemy. Besides, hating someone would not bring an end to an issue.

Renaye said... "it's a sad thing. it's the messiest war on earth. there's always a solution but no political will. always tepuk sebelah tangan."

The solutions are there but peoples prefer to do it the hard way. In any wars in the past human history, when an authority fought with another authority, the civilians will suffered the most. Army troops and normal peasants died on a war - only the government merely stood still. But mark my following point, just because Israel is fighting the Palestine, it doesn't mean that the Jewish in general are against the Palestinian in general. Only 30-40% of Israeli respondent agreed to go on war but on the basis of Hamas constant threat into their land. There are many others Jewish who against of going war. Don't make any assumptions based on a small sample size, according to one renowned speaker, Dr Azzahari Ismail, whom concluded that we Malaysian always jumped into the conclusion too soon without knowing our facts.

firdaus said... "I'm just saying boycotting is a small & short-term solution...its not even a solution. It's better to think long term and strengthen economically, become entrepreneurs, offer alternatives and reduce the dependancy."
Some anonymous dude said... "When u buy Americans/ Israeli products:U give them money -> they buy weapon -> Kill people."
Kritz said... "What's the point of boycotting those products? Wouldn't that affect other innocent peoples too? Wouldn't that be the same?"
Harmony said... "I'm not going to just boycott my fast food and other stuffs so easily"
Acura said... "But boycotting American goods isn't a smart solution. Protesting on the streets aren't going to solve the prob. UN & the US need to do something or else the war is just going to go on & on"
This is a hard thing to investigate on. I am not an economist and I cannot assured how much the impact of buying these products will directly goes ioto the weapon coffer. The last time I checked, the consumers paid extra 5% government tax for the products, plus some 10% servgice charges in certain outlets of products. The revenue of a company will go to paying utilities, the salaries, raw materials, maintenance and social charity (in certain cases). Do not forget on other operating costs which I have not mention here.

Furthermore, most of the products and brands available in Malaysia are mostly franchise - meaning a local who brought and open these brands into our market. As mentioned before on the lengthy post, boycotts means backfire into our own volatile economy prospect and may not necessary brings an end into the issues.

I think it is not a time for us just to do any boycotting campaign for their products to end the issue. Why not focus on the main issue and tackle them on diplomacy manners or any methods available which will serves more realistic approaches to end it rather than attacking only a minor fraction of the issues. Boycotts solve problems in short term. Once we voiced our objection over Dutch and Danish products but the things cooled by itself, what's next?

I wished to thanks all our commentors which have resulted in the following conclusions:
1) All of us are against the cruelty of the Israel has done over the Palestinian over the past 20 days. The Jewish should stop attacking the Palestinian and the same goes to the Hamas. Cease the war and negotiate on a round table. Stop killing of the innocents and I believe both Israel and Hamas should be blamed.

2) Not all Jewish around the world and even those in Israel itself are supporting this war and killing. By just merely assuming a small sample size of 100 peoples who went to war doesn't make it a generalized statement that Jews are cruel, Jews killed Palestinian and so on.

3) Boycotting American and Israeli products resolves issues in temporary manners but the war will continues. Why waste our time tackling something insignificant while the core issues remain unresolved? Anyway, I believe it is an individual right to whether support or not support the campaign.

4) There are two sides of stories in an event. However, it may be easier to simply pick one side, abide and stand for it, but it would be unfair to the other side. In the revolution of human thinking in the modern age, why not take into considerations from both parties before passing out judgement. We perceived Nazis were evil because the history was written by the one who won the war. Does anyone ever wonder why Germany turned into an Axis power during World War 2?

Wars and Boycotts: Do We Really Need Them?

11:30 am local time, 27 December 2008, the beginning of Israel's offensive against the Hamas in Gaza. Codenamed "Operation Cast Lead", it targets the members and infrastructure of Hamas, thus ending a 6-months truce between Israel and Hamas. Hamas accused Israel for not lifting the Gaza Strip blockade and their constant raids in Gaza, while Israel blamed Hamas for the increasing rocket and mortar attacks into its territories.

After 15 days of raid (until January 10), the war claimed more than 800 lives with 3,700 injuries, mostly on the Palestinian side. Israel also blocked humanitarian aid into the Gaza territory although later allowed humanitarian cease-fire in between 1 to 4 pm in certain days.

With humanitarian crisis looming in Gaza, the worst are yet to come and it leaves the civilian Palestinian, living in fear under gunfire, gun shells, mortars and bombs. Although the Israel primary objective is to target the Hamas militants, the civilians are unfortunately not spared as the collateral damages cause 25% of the casualties are from the civilians.

THE WAR IS NOT FORGED ON RELIGIOUS ISSUES?

Since Israel announced its independence following the Civil War with the Arabs that led to the termination of the British Mandate of Palestine on 14 May 1948, the conflicts have resulted a never-ending saga. Thousands of lives have perished while millions became refugees.

Contrary to popular belief, the war is not forged due to religious issues and I wish to clarify that these are not really a continuation from the Crusader War or specifically war against Islam. I cannot help but to notice that people nowadays seems to use religion or cultural belief to justify their attack over the innocents one across their borders.

No matter if it is the Arabic-style-suicide-bombers or an Israeli-air-raid-bombardment or even the guerrilla-styles-attack on Mumbai, there are nothing on these actions that can be justified other than the disruption of peace and harmony. There is no proper justification on why a war must happen - but let us put the blames on our greediness, hunger for land and money, dissatisfaction and selfishness when the most losses were actually the civilian to suffer.

I particularly think that most of the Malaysians will think that the conflicts between Israel and Palestine for years were due to the religious issues, which is quite untrue. I heard one said before that Israel was committing genocide against the Palestine as an effort to destroy Islam and ethnic cleansing. Partly yes and partly no.

The act of Israel in which they attack Palestine and killing many innocent civilian is no doubt an act of genocide but concerning any efforts towards Islam-demolishing, ethnic cleansing or Islamophobia, they are not true. The reason is that the causes of the conflict are something that most of us are not aware of.

WHY GO TO SOME WAR?

There is no possible dateline on when the conflicts begin.

Let us take the Bible first, from the exercpts of Genesis. Abraham's wife Sarah was barren but he bore a son, Ishmael with Hagar whom was Sarah's maid. Fourteen years later, Sarah became pregnant and bore a son, Isaac. Seeing this God promised to make a great nation of their people thus commanded Abraham to expel Hagar and Ishmael. Isaac's become the ancestor of the Jews, while Ishmael's the Arabs and Muslims.

Following years on invasion by the Roman Empire and Ottoman Turks Empire, the Jews fleed the land to other part of the world, especially Europe. By the end of 19th century, European Jews began arriving at the land of Palestine, seeking to establish a Jewish homeland with the tag "A people without a land for a land without people". The problem was while there were relatively small Jewish in the land and discovered that the land was occupied by Ishmael's descendants. Therefore both claimed sovereignity over the same piece of soil.

In 1947, British decided to withdrew from the land of Palestine which they took in war with the Ottoman and named in the British Mandate of Palestine. At that time the population was roughly 2/3 Arabs and 1/3 Jewish. United Nations proposed a partition plan of two states. Jewish were unhappy but accepted the proposal while the arabs rejected.

A civil war broke and the Jewish won and called its independence in 1948 on 14 May 1948. Immediately, the Arab League nations sent troops to fight the Jewish which resulted in the victory of the Jewish with more expansion of land than originally allotted. The Jews celebrated but the Palestinians called it the "nakba". The Arabs fled their homes that caused the refugee issue that persists till today. The Jews also left their homes in Arab nations to settle in Israel.

In 1967 "Six-Day War", Israel conquered the Sinai Penisula, The Gaza strip, the West Bank, the eastern part of Jerusalem and Golan Heights. Gaza is deemed as an important bordering point between the Jews and Arabs which previously under Egypt's territories.

20 years later, a Sunni Muslim organization called Hamas (Islamic Resistance Movement) was created. Hamas is a political party, a military component and provide social responsibilities in Gaza. Israel and the United States consider Hamas as a terrorist, taken into credit for suicide bombing and rocket attacks into southern Israel.

Israli blocked the relief supplies in measure to halt rocket attacks. The Palestinians link the tactic to the Holocaust, similar to Nazi siege of the Jewish in Warsaw. Hamas continued to fire rocket into Israel while Israel continued to raid the Gaza. A 6-months truce was offered by the Egypt in which both accepted back mid-2008. After the period over, the rocket attacks continued. Each say the other's actions caused the collapse of understanding.

Israel decided it no longer could tolerate and therefore 27 December 2008 attack on the Gaza strip occured till what we are 15 days later.

TRULY HUMANITARIAN OR MERELY MERITS?

While most of the students in my college are currently busy with the program called "Untukmu Palestine", I decided to write this note to wonder if this program is based on religious reason or humanitarian reason.

I begin to wonder what benefits this program will directly affect the suffering Palestinian? I cannot help to wonder how and where will the money will be channeled after the end of the program. It is just merely a program ran to provide merits to the students or an effort to really help the sufferings in Palestine? (In my college, you need to be active and obtain enough merit in order to get priority to get hostel accommodation for the next academic year.)

WHY WAR WILL NEVER END?

Let's look at the six core of the conflict that caused instability in the Palestine land:
(1) Jerusalem, an ancient holy city among the Christianity, Islam and Judaism, is divided and unresolved as both parties claim assertions over the city.
(2) Palestinian refugees that amounted to 4 million who wished to return to their home where they lived before 1948 and 1967.
(3) Israeli settlements which expanded into Palestinian territories, but 2005 Ariel Sharon's plan was enacted to vacate Israeli settlements in Gaza, therefore returning Gaza into the hands of Palestine.
(4) Security issues pertaining to both parties.
(5) International status due to seperate partition of their state.
(6) Resources distribution especially water supply among the two states due to the availability of the water resources.

Looking at the six core issues themselves, none states the issues revolving the religious rights and so on. The efforts to end all of these fightings are not by Holy War by the Arabs or air-raids by the Israel. Diplomacy and tolerancy are the answers. It is difficult to achieve but that is the only answer to end the issues.

Because of the near impossible, the war will just never end and the problems will never resolved. I cannot help to wonder myself how all of these core problems can be solved just like that. It only works when both states united under one nation two states that are autonomous with sharing is the only possibility towards peace! I think my idea is too ambitious, ideal and too much resembling "You Don't Mess With The Zohan".

BOYCOTT OR NOT BOYCOTT?

Boycotting brand names like McDonald, Coca-Cola, Starbucks, Manhattan Fish Market, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Microsoft and more to name of - does not it sounds hypocrite? It sounds hypocrite because all these while you spend money on them, consume their products and you end up boycotting something that are virtually part of your life. Ironic and hypocrite at the same time. There are few reasons why I think boycotting any US-made or Israel-associated products are not the answers.

(1) As mention earlier, you pay, you consume all these while and suddenly you decided to jump ship by boycotting.
(2) Why punish products that have been part of your life for years when it was the policy-makers or governments who were the one forging out and using people's money to go for some war? In recent survey, most of American and Israelites are not in favour for war. The outcome is obvious in the United States when Barack Obama won the presidential election, instead of John McCain whom will definitely following Bush's policy on wars. Going for a war requires billions of dollars been spent! Whose money are they using by the way? And how you will run your computer if you decides to boycott Microsoft as well.
(3) Boycotting products during the economy meltdown doesn't seems like a brilliant idea. In recent years many big companies offer jobs and opportunity of business to the locals and the same goes in Malaysia itself too. McDonalds offers thousands of jobs to school kids everytime holidays were around the corner. Boycotting is similar as making economy meltdown even worst indirectly. Well, this is what you get when you mix politics into daily life too much.

IN A NUTSHELL...

Before you go and blindly boycott or attend some street demonstration, just be wise and don't look on the history and current facts based on only one side. I will not joining any boycott and street protest because I think it will not bring any differences. But it doesn't mean I support Israel or against the suffering Palestinian. I choose to be neutral because I believe both conflicting parties should hold responsibles when war claimed the lives of civilians. Don't be blinded by the facts that going into war is something to be so proud about. Going into war put people's life at stacks.

MY MESSAGES...
To Israel: please stop all these non-sense raid when you say you are targetting the Hamas but it was the lifes of civilians which were perished.

To Palestine: I support you all the time because I believe in peace but I still think Hamas should hold responsibility for putting the life of civilians at stacks.

To my fellow friends at college: Read your facts right before making assumption. It is not that I don't support the program but I wonder how sincere the personels behind this program is...just ask yourself, you do this program to get merits or you really sympathy for them?
